Lower Middle Class
💰 Wage: $1,115
📉 Monthly Expenses: $335

Choose a player to be the banker to manage the money, distribute wages, read the ChaNJe Fact Cards and to keep track of expenses using the provided expense tracker.
Let each player choose their character.
Place all players on the "It's Pay Day" space on the board.
Shuffle and place the decks (ChaNJe Fact, Moment of ChaNJe, ChaNJe Gem, ChaNJe Assets - Home and Car cards) face down on the game board.
HOW TO PLAY
Players take turns in a clockwise direction. On your turn:
Roll the standard die and move your piece forward that many spaces.
Follow the action required on the space you land on (see “ Special Game Spaces” below).
If you pass or land on "It’s Pay Day", collect your wage from the banker.
If you pass or land on "Monthly Expenses Due", you must pay your expenses.
GAME SPACES & ACTIONS
1. ChaNJe Gem Spaces
Draw a ChaNJe Gem Card.
Each ChaNJe Gem provides a valuable financial tip/advice and increases your net worth.
Each Gem is worth $1,000 and can be cashed in during your turn or held until the end of the game and tallied on your scorecard.
2. ChaNJe Fact Spaces
When a player lands on this space, a ChaNJe Fact Card will be drawn and the banker will read the financial question aloud for the player to answer. If the player answers it correctly they hold on to it. If a player answers incorrectly, the other players will roll the die, and the player with the highest number gets a chance to answer the question (unless it is a “True or False” question). This process continues until only two choices remain.
Once you answer three (3) ChaNJe Facts correctly, you earn a Moment of ChaNJe card.
You may sell your ChaNJe Fact cards to another player for up to $1,000.
3. Moment of ChaNJe Spaces
Once you have successfully answered three (3) ChaNJe Fact Cards, put them to the bottom of the stack and draw a Moment of ChaNJe Card
These cards simulate real-life financial events, which can be positive or negative.
Follow the instructions on the card.
4. ChaNJe Asset (🏠 🚘) Spaces
There are two spaces for these cards. When players land on “Deposit $1000 to Savings or Buy A Luxury Car,” they must choose one option. If they buy the car, they can draw a Car Asset Card. When players land on “Rent Due $2000 or Pay Mortgage on ChaNJe Asset Card,” they can either pay the rent or draw a Home Asset Card and pay the mortgage.
Assets increase your net worth and are kept for the duration of the game and list the value and liability on your scorecard at the end of the game.
If you land on this space again, you may choose to acquire another asset.
5. It's Pay Day (💰) Space
Collect your wages based on your income classification.
This happens every time you pass or land on this space.
6. Monthly Expenses Due (📉) Space
Pay your monthly expenses based on your classification.
You may choose not to pay, but unpaid expenses will count against your final net worth.
HOW TO USE THE EXPENSE TRACKER
The banker is responsible for keeping track of income/expenses for all players.
Fill in the "Banker's Name" at the top, and list each player's name and income classification in the columns. If a player runs out of money or chooses not to pay any expenses on the game board, the banker will enter the amount in the "Debit/Credit" column and update the "Total" column. When a player receives income (wages, inheritance, bonuses, etc.), the banker will also input this in the "Debit/Credit" column to lower the amount owed. Any remaining balance on the expense tracker will show as "Outstanding Monthly Expenses" under "Liabilities" on the scorecard.
WINNING THE GAME
The game lasts for 60 minutes.
At the end, players determine their net worth by entering the amounts for each category possessed on the scorecard.
Calculate your “Total of Assets” and “Total of Liabilities”. The “Total New Worth” is the total assets minus total liabilities.
The player with the highest net worth wins!
